Andrea L. Barber, paralegal, has been with the firm since August 2002. Since receiving her legal assistant certificate in 1996, Ms. Barber has been in the legal profession in Arizona and the U.S. Virgin Islands in various areas of practice including real estate litigation, the field in which she has chosen to specialize. Ms. Barber assists in the preparation of pleadings, discovery, disclosure and correspondence, as well as the management of voluminous documents received from all parties and extensive interaction with clients, counsel and witnesses. Ms. Barber attended Western Washington University and Arizona State University majoring in English, and is in the process of obtaining her license to practice as a real estate agent in the State of Arizona. Jennifer C. Price has been employed with Mack & Associates since February 2004 and was instrumental in developing and fine-tuning the filing system utilized by the firm. Jennifer graduated from Arizona State University West with a Bachelor of Education degree. Currently, Jennifer is a full-time paralegal, having transitioned from her previous position where she was primarily responsible for reviewing the nature of all incoming files and coordinating initial consultations with potential clients. Claire L. Bailey has been a certified professional legal secretary since March 1993. Ms. Bailey has worked closely with Mr. Mack in his litigation practice since 1995. In addition to providing traditional legal secretarial assistance, Ms. Bailey is also responsible for all docketing in the errors & omissions litigation. She also is responsible for scheduling depositions, settlement conferences, and related matters with parties, witnesses, counsel and the courts. Claire is a member of the Phoenix Legal Support Association (PLSA), Arizona Legal Support Association (LSPA), and NALS. . .the association for legal professionals. Meryl J. Krich, Office Manager, has been with the firm since April 2001. Meryl is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Meryl is responsible for the firm’s administrative functions including accounting, time and billing, basic computer maintenance and overall office support. Meryl is currently working on attaining her QuickBooks certification as well as becoming a member of the Association of Legal Administrators. Nicole B. Goldberg, secretary, has been with the firm since May 2004. Currently Nicole is responsible for back-up of the firm’s multiple line phone system, filing, including indexing, transcribing, filing pleadings with the various courts and supporting the firm’s legal secretaries and paralegals. Valerie E. Stranieri, receptionist, joined the firm in August 2006. Valerie graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs. Valerie is responsible for the firm’s multiple-line phone system, greeting clients, filing, and basic office maintenance.
